Treatments
Traditional Chinese Medicine (中医)(TCM) has two basic components Acupuncture (针灸) and Chinese Herbal Therapy (草药). Thou there are a number of other treatments, such Moxibustion (艾灸), Cupping (拔罐) and Tui Na (推拿). TCM can treat a great variaty of ailments and help manage conditions.
Before your first treatment a consultation is required to diagnosis your condition. It is made based on your complaints, your tongue and your pulse. After a diagnosis has been made, the consultant will explain your condition, the causes leading to it, and the prognosis. Subsequently, the most suitable treatment will be discussed with you. All treatments focus on overall well-being rather than isolated symptoms.
